This video posted on You Tube by i0n1c shows an untethered jailbroken iPad 3,3 also known as the new iPad on day of release = 16th March 2012.

Dev-Team have finally cracked the A5 device puzzle and were able to produce and release the Absinthe jailbreak tool which allows total untethered liberation on the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2, powered by Apple’s A5 processor.

Confirmation that this is The new iPad! Dev-Team had give some bit of good news earlier today by saying that they had three angels to work on a jailbreak for The new iPad, 2nd pics shows a screen with the command "uname-a" you need to display all the characteristics of the terminal device as a kernel, version and more.

Currently, the jailbreak is in preliminary stage, so it's clear, the jailbreak is untethered. There is still much work to do before he could reach the official release of new tools for the jailbreak, but the evidence of the iPad 2 and The new iPad jailbreak on iOS 5.1 before us, meaning that it shouldn’t be to long until we see a public release, though there is no official ETA on it, just yet.
